Polytra is present since 1974 in DRC and since the beginning involved in the development of the DRC Mining region – Katanga and the large area around it – executing in- and export clearing formalities under our own customs license, organising in and export multimodal transport (train, truck and barging) and offering all handling services of your goods at Polytra’s own bonded and non-boned secured facility with own handling equipment.  

We are proud of our unique set up (with offices in Lubumbashi, Kolwezi, Likasi and Kasumbalesa) and experienced team which enables us to offer all logistic services with European service and compliance Standards.

POLYTRA uses its own customs license to organise a quick and smooth clearing of your goods at all the possible entry and exit points of all Southern and Eastern DRC : Katanga (including Lubumbashi Airport), Bukavu, Kigoma and Goma.

Our successful experiences with exoneration procedures (including a.o. SNEL and Mining companies) are a proven result of expertise.

Our long standing relationship with major mining companies and commodity traders, for who we organise since several years the swift, smooth and compliant clearing of large export volumes, is a proven result of our reliability.

Finally POLYTRA can offer the usage of its own bonded (and not bonded) facility and ICD in Lubumbashi with its own handling equipment to offer even more tailored solutions.
